Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism, Inc.

Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism, a charitable foundation, invites proposals in three major areas of interest: education, prevention, and research on alcoholism.

GBCoA's mission is to assist in increasing public understanding of alcoholism, its nature, treatment and prevention.  GBCoA supports, encourages, and endorses grantees who have creative, innovative programs which meet expressed need, encompassing groups of people and can be measured and appreciated in those terms.

GBCoA makes donations where the funding will make a meaningful contribution to the accomplishment of the goals of the organization.

There is a three year limit for consecutive receipt of funding for any given organization.  There is a donation cap of $7,500.
GBCoA requires that
all proposals and addendum

The mythical Phoenix builds a nest
that ignites: both the nest and the bird
burn and are reduced to ashes.
From the ashes a new young phoenix
arises reborn to live again.
