The Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism invites proposals in three major areas of interest: education, prevention, and early intervention. Our approach is a holistic one with a goal that moves towards personal freedom and growth. We support, encourage and endorse grantees who have creative, innovative programs which meet expressed need, encompassing groups of people, and can be measures and appreciated in those terms. There is a three year limit for consecutive receipt of funding for any given organization. There is a donation cap of $7,500.

Grant awards are given out once a year. Proposals, should be submitted during the first quarter of the year for Board review.

There are four steps to follow for the proper submission of grant proposals to the Greater Boston Counsel on Alcoholism.

Step One: Prerequisites

Step Two: Required Information

Description of the project for which you request a grant

Step Three: Proposal

Proposals should be concise, they are not to exceed two pages. It should include a link to the Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism's goals for assisting others.

Step Four: Submitting the Application

Please submit all proposals with 14 copies, plus one copy only of any supplemental information.

The deadline for proposals is December 31, 2007.
