Welcome to the GBCA Website. This page and the ones that follow are for people
and organizations to better understand what we do and what it can do for you.
This year 13 agencies in the Greater Boston area received grant funding. The receiving agencies grants fell into three discernable categories: prevention programs for children and adolescents, prevention programs for children and their families, and support for residents in recovery houses and after-care programs. MOAR a grassroots recovery, educational, and political advocacy organization received a grant to support recovery day activities in Boston.
Each year we are privileged to accept, review proposals and finally support creative, preventative and educational programs that target children, the most vulnerable and at risk people in our communities.
