Making a bequest to GBCoA
This foundation was established out of gratitude: one of the thousands of people Elizabeth Whitney Post counseled
over the years left her a substantial legacy. She created a charitable foundation in order to generate an annual income sufficient to make a number of small, but important grants annually.
Since then over the years the foundation has been the welcome recipient of donations from individuals who choose
to honor a loved one by making an anonymous gift or bequest to the fund. All donations become part of the general
fund to support the mission of the Greater Boston Council on Alcoholism.
If you would like to make an anonymous donation to GBCoA, please contact the Grants Manager to learn more.
